Perspective: 8 Ways of Looking at Tears.

I.
A scream,
A cry for help.
But no one sees
The pain you hold back.

II.
Beaten,
Alone,
Will anyone save me?

III.
The pressure to be perfect
Yells at you.
You cannot compete.

IV.
Your dad comes home from fighting in the war,
Your mom does not have cancer,
Safety and relief.

V.
Your newborn baby boy,
Sitting calmly in your arms,
Healthy.

VI.
You won the lottery!
Looking at the ticket,
Seeing the winning numbers.
No more struggling with money--
Bliss.

VII.
Your bond with your grandma
Is now over,
As she passes away.

VIII.
The heartfelt note your best friend left you,
Before he committed suicide.

Mother Earth

Don't ever let go,
you are here for a reason,
always love yourself.

Untold

Your lips are closed
But I can see
There is something you’re not telling me
Behind your beautiful, bold blue eyes
Sits all your deep, dark precious lies
Your past, your present, your future too
Do you even know what’s true?
If you love me, say you do
Maybe there can be something new,
A hug, a kiss-
what will it be?
Will you even remember me?

Changes

We're ending this beginning
To start off something new
I sit amongst the memories
And happiness with you
With gaining conceit
New things we have to greet
And letting go of you
It started with an alright scene
We got along just fine
But newer things, we cannot see
The memories, like mine.
I look beyond our coverage
A front that we've put on
We promised we would never change
I guess that we were wrong
what happened to the good old times?
Where we would never judge?
Now we're starting drama
Every week a brand new grduge
But there is much more clarity
To explain all of the muck
It's all to find individuality
And happiness with luck
We're changing to new things
And forgetting all the past
Just to keep it moving on,
As this life goes by so fast.
We've built up all these years
But now I know it's all for good,
As we sit and share our tears.

Courage

Having the courage to fail, can't be stressed enough.
Even though losing may be tough.
But it's the ones who cannot be broken,
Who strive for the lowest.
Trying harder and harder, to pass life's test
Taken what has been given to you,
Turning it around.
Showign what you've got,
Once you've hit the ground.
Making something better, it may be hard to do.
One of life's challenges
Something for you to prove.
Doing what they say you can't.
A challenge once again,
Believing that the world can't crush you,
That your back will never bend.
Thsoe who know where they're going,
Should never forget,
Work will always come before glory.
The challenge has been set.
Not braking when you've been broken,
Will only make you that much stronger.
Keep ing you in life's game,
Only so much longer,
Not forgetting where you started,
Will help you so much more.
Because it's your time to shine,
To rise up off the floor.
Now that you have played,
The cards that you've been dealt
It's time to let go of your emotions and pain.
The feeling that you had felt
Going for the top.
It's something hard to do.
But now you are there.
Your journey is now finally through.
Your blood, sweat, and tears
Pushed you forward towards your strife
A new story to be told,
The story of your life.

Life is like a Daydream

Life is like a Daydream,
It can start and end at moment's notice
It can go any way- pleasant or dire.
Some are longer than others.
Some go by without a care
Yet,
It is the one that drives you on, that will matter.

Life as it is

Sometimes I wonder what life may be,
It can be as fragile as a butterfly or as massive as the sea.
Life is something unthinkable, but forever to hold.
Memories to be cherished and friendships so bold.
The sweet symphony of happiness and the burning desire for love,
Living with the heart, as if a miracle from above.
Pain being poured out in tears,
Feelings being kept for all these years.
Friendships and memories from who knows,
The happy memories are those who stay,
For they portray life,
and no other way.
